One on One “Interview” Coaching

 

Interview Coaching:

 

Pharmaceutical and Medical Device sales interviews are without a doubt some of the most complex interview sessions in any industry.  It is not uncommon for a candidate to go through a series of 6 – 8 distinct interview sessions with each one being different.  All interview coaching is done based on your specific background, the type of interview, size and type of company and who you are interviewing with.  We provide targeted, focused preparation for candidates starting with the first phone screen through to the final face to face with a VP of Sales. 

Your personal pharmaceutical/medical sales interview coaching session is done on the phone and includes:

  • Role playing of actual questions;
  • Helping you understand how to best answer some of the most common questions such as “what are your strengths/weaknesses”?
  • Discussion/strategizing over best answers for problem areas in your background.
  • Explanation of why certain questions are asked and the best approach to answering them.
  • Assistance in development of questions for you to ask the manager, including how many you really should ask;
  • Tips of interview preparation and execution which includes topics such as appropriate attire, what to take with you, when do you bring out your brag book and 30-60-90 day plan;
  • Development of strategy to close the interviewer.

About your personal interview coach, Elizabeth Danford:

 

Elizabeth Danford has over 15 years experience working in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industry.  During this time, she has worked as a Project Consultant, staffing large scale projects for clients in the medical industry.  She has attended and presented at multiple industry conferences and trade shows.  Ms. Danford has also assisted staffing and recruiting firms with setting up Life Science Divisions, educating and training recruiters and sales people on how to interview for the industry.  In 2009 she assisted close to 100 candidates in finding new sales positions in the medical industry.
